I am so sick and tired of people,
Judging me before even knowing me.
I am so sick of people racially profiling me.
I am so sick of people that stick to stereotypes.
I am so sick of people saying don’t judge a book by its cover by do not practice what they preach.
I am so sick of non black people using racial slurs like they have a right or reason to do so.
I am so tired of having to be scared at night when I go out to simply take a walk.
I am so tired of having to wear clothes that won't intimidate others,
Like my comfortability doesn’t matter.
I am so tired of having to subconsciously be aware of the way my hand looks when picking up an item so it doesn’t look like I am stealing.
I am so tired of having to degrade myself for others.
I am so tired of guys not liking me because of the colour of my skin.
I am so tired of being looked at and stared at differently because of the way that I look,
Looking like I am the alien in this country
Like I am the outlier of society.
