#1:
Prompt: Your character and their brother have always been best friends. They know practically everything about each other. Until they catch him doing something they never thought possible.
Genre: Fantasy
#2:
Prompt: Write about how the only reason your character is alive is because of a test device implanted around their heart. It wasn’t supposed to work and now, they’re not only healed, but they’re also changing. Just what exactly was that device made out of?
Genre: Sci-fi
#3:
Prompt: Write about how a half-eaten apple flies through the air and smacks your character on the head. There’s nobody around and no way for anyone to hide. Then it happens the next day. They do some digging and discover the source...a small child with rags for clothes and hollow cheeks.
Genre: Contemporary

Prompt: Write about what happens when your very particular character meets the least unlikely person to ever be a good match for them.
Genre: Romance

Prompt: Write about how your main character is a key witness for a murder case. Video footage of them at the scene during the murder shows that clearly. The only problem? They can’t remember anything from that night.
