Berry Bliss

Healthy delicious refreshing smoothie, perfect for those hot summer days.


Ingredients

½ cup, water

⅓ cup or (4-5 pieces), of ice

1 cup, frozen mixed berries

1 frozen banana

1 Tbsp of honey

1 tsp, chia seeds (optional)

Fresh berries for toppings (optional)


Method:

  1. Into a nutribullet or blender, place water, ice, honey frozen berries and frozen banana into the container of the machine.

  2. Blitz in 30 second intervals until mixture is smooth.

  3. Pour into glass and decorate with fresh berries (optional). Enjoy.


Tips:

  1. If you want the smoothie to be a thicker consistency, then add more frozen berries. Vice versa, if you want the smoothie to be a thinner consistency add more water.

  2. Prior to making the smoothie, you can pre cut and freeze fresh berries and a banana for the smoothie.


Discretion: Ensure that a parent or guardian is present to help with safety risks such as the use of the machinery and any steps that require cutting with a knife.
