The book is based on six teenagers around the age of seventeen, who come together for a money earning mission. As they go on a journey together, they develop a 'found family' friendship. The relationships between each of the characters and their backstories is worth the read, along with the enjoyable storyline.


2. The Cruel Prince Series by Holly Black

Why you should read it: The Cruel Prince by Holly Black is a extravagant series that keeps you gripped and interested the whole time. The main character is a strong, independant and fearsome character that aspires young girls and boys to have a role model to look up to. There are also so many fascinating and cunning characters to also enjoy throughout the book. The fantasy of this book wants to make you be in it.

Why you should read it: A Good Girls Guide to Murder, commonly known as "AGGGTM", is a very captivating and page turning book. Not only does it have the most alluring storyline, the personalities of each of each of the characters makes it more exciting to read. There are a million different plot twists that will keep you hooked throughout the entire book. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson is a wonderful plotted book that will keep you guessing about what will happen next.
