These days its said that millennials won't be able to afford a house because of how much smashed avo on toast they buy. Making this yourself will save you heaps of money in the long run and tastes really good! AVo toast is also healthy - it gives you the good natural fats to keep you going till lunch and counts as a serve of fruit !
Ingredients
Bread (Sourdough or Multigrain is always best)
Half an Avocado
Lemon juice
Salt
Pepper
Chilli flakes
Greek Feta
Cherry tomatoes
Pepita Seeds
Method
1. Pop two pieces of bread in to the toaster
2. Place half and avocado, a splash of lemon juice, salt, pepper and chilli flakes (as much as you want) into a bowl and mash with a fork.
3. Spoon smashed avo onto the toast and spread evenly.
4. Sprinkle pepita seeds onto the toast evenly
5. Cut a thin piece of feta and crumble finely over toast.
6. Cut tomatoes into quarters and add to toast - add as many as you want!
7. If you want to fancy things up you can add eggs, bacon, red onion, nuts or whatever you feel like!
8. Enjoy!
