hi there!
this is my very last article for 2020! let's be real, 2020 has not been the year that we all had hoped for. we all dreamed of glo ups, change and to venture forth into a new decade. well we definitely got change that's for sure. here is my advice for the much anticipated chrissie holidays coming up!
get out of your comfort zone
it has been such a tough year for all of us, it's taken us all out of our comfort zones of our normal lives. these are not normal holidays, this is the time and place to get out of that comfort zone! go dye your hair! get those fake nails! meet new people!
go explore
please be covid safe and responsible but go adventure!! sydney has so many awesome and exciting places to explore with family, friends or even by yourself (but for the sake of being an older student with advice for younglings... please be responsible lmao) need inspiration for what to do? wildflower has multiple lists of places to go and things to do
ew... study
for the year 12s it's gonna be super hard especially for myself but don't let that school work collect dust. even if you read up on it once a week for like 10 minutes, don't forget about it! even get your friends to check up and make sure that you revise some of your content, even if studying absolutely sucks.
sleep
just because it's the holidays, doesn't mean that's its okay to stay up for 72 hours straight. your body needs rest, and lets be real, would you rather be run down and sick during summer or refreshed and enjoy it?
fulfill for every minute
this is your time to spend your life like a coming of age movie! surround yourself with people who love you and make some memories! whether it's playing minecraft for 12 hours straight or going out to the beach, don't waste away the summer!
